We are a not for profit organization, a registered Scottish Charity and are made up of two groups:

We have been operating since January 2000 and are registered with the Scottish Care Inspectorate to provide day care for children between the ages of 12 weeks and 12 years of age.

Maxwelltown Playcare is located on  Lochside Road, Dumfries. We have seventeen staff members who work on a day to day basis to provide a safe, stimulating and exciting learning environment for each child who attends the setting.

MaxPlay 2 is located at the North West Resource Centre in Lincluden, Dumfries and has been operational since 2008. We have eight members of staff who work together as a team to give parents and children a warm welcome in a nurturing environment where children flourish whilst learning lots of new things every day.

We are registered with the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (Scottish Care Inspectorate) in accordance with the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010, Part 5 to provide daycare for 70 children at MaxPlay and 30 children at MaxPlay2 between the ages of 12 weeks and 12 years.
